1. What I found really annoying was the lack of horizontal surfaces: one small bedstand, no desk, no table, no real space to put anything on.

2. I am firmly of the view that you just need your room to sleep and get changed in and certainly don't expect a city hotel to be particularly large but the Paramount prefers style over function and when the hairdryer plug means that to dry your hair you can't see a mirror its just becomes annoying.

3. When we arrived at the hotel our room was not ready, we were told it would be done in about an hour, this was not a problem but was a bit annoying after being on a plane for hours getting to NY.

4. Only thing that really annoyed me about this hotel were the plug outlets, they were all sideways which made it impossible for me to charge my IPOD.

6. Staff very helpful and polite,room was very small tiny cupboard so had to leave most of clothes in suitcase bit annoying no where to put suitcases so they took up some room.

7. The air con was noisy enough to compete with the noise of the city outside, which I guess could be more annoying in the summer.

8. The only thing I'm a little annoyed with is the A/C in the room which I find rather noisyFree wifi at the lobby which I appreciate a great deal as it's not always easy to find free wifi in NYC.
