Both my female friend and I slept quite well that night,
hardly
hearing any noise whatsoever.

The rooms are somewhat small and somewhat dated, with old heat control in the room, making it
hard
to regulate the temperature but they are pretty clean.

hard
to explain but it was strangely comforting.

I've stayed at old, charming hotels both in the US and abroad but this one is so tired that I could

This place may be the nicest hotel in the world, and the people in the lobby lounge were trying
hard
to make things better for us, but the hotel desk staff is inept and have a lot to learn about treating people well.
