2. when your guests are assigned to those tiny rooms I would suggest you throw in some comps like breakfast or a drink at the bar as goodwill to offset the likely disappointment in the room size.

8. I also stay in a ton of NYC hotel rooms, so it grates a bit when people complain about the size of 4 star rooms (it's Manhattan, get over it) and these were some of the smallest, but what they've done with the space (or failed to) is disappointing.
