Other than small rooms, I do not see any clear
downside
s and would definitely recommend it for visiting New York City.

was the hotel receptionist (Mr T- that's all I'll say) who was a bit burly and cursed a bit too much considering his job.

The only

is that shortly after my stay, marriott bought the hotel and has since spiked up the prices of rooms.

s? Well, we thought next time we`d take an extra piece of luggage to hold bottled water, a couple of bottles of wine, some snacks - there`s no place really close by to buy those things.
