1. I tried not to ruin our holiday by complaining over or thinking too much about it; but God knows who else used that duvet before.

2. I complained to the manager who reimbursed me the entire $400 for the room which is great but doesnt make up for the fact that our entire day in NY on Sunday was ruined.

4. Finally after we complained 4 times and 24 hrs later they moved us to a king bed which had other people's hair in it, stains on the linen's and other evidence that the pillow, sheets and comforter hadn't been cleaned in what could be a week.

5. The worst part is, after calling to complain they said that they knew that the hotel was booked for 2 weeks prior to our trip but failed to notify us of the overbooking and we were just broad sided when we showed up.

6. After a 6AM flight and southwest neglecting to get my equipment on the plane we arrived to the hotel to drop our bags, but were interrupted by the staff complaining about a guest being upset about them taking their personal pillow out of the room.
