1. Good and safe location to visit NYCBUT- the building next to it is underconstruction and make ie lot of noise during the week- the internet is not working when the hotel is full I was in NYC for buisness and was not able to acess internat froml the hotel as they explain it was normal as the hotel was full ?.

4. If you want to make absolutely sure that you are not bothered by the noise from below, I suggest you ask for a room above the fourth floor.

5. It is true that there is quite a lot of commotion going on on the weekends (not my kind of crowd I must admit) and it can get loud in the lobby, however, our room was on the fifth floor and we had no noise problem whatsoever.

6. And I guess the bottom line is that the managment of this hotel knows how ridiculous the noise level is but choose to keep the club opened despite the impact on the hotel guests.

7. My brother and his wife stayed on the 10th floor and were not affected at all by noise.

8. Although the hotel is a cool little place and the front desk staff were very nice, the noise is UNBEARABLE, COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE, like a dance club is in your room literally, like you'd have to be smoking crack or passed out to be able to sleep in the room.

10. noise: be aware this hotel has a club scene and plays bass laden music until about 3 am 5 days a week.
