2. Just a point for those who have mobility issues: the hotel being in UN Plaza is about 10 minutes walk from the nearest subway.

5. My daughter and I had booked a twin bedded room but were issued with one king size bed and told emphatically by the snooty male reception clerk that it was entirely our own fault during the booking process, although it happens all the time and he wasn't the least bit surprised as the hotel had few twin bedded rooms in any case.

7. I probably should have complained but given I was working long days, and the unresponsive service on other issues (see above) I didnt think it was worth the hassle.
