1. annoyed had to ask for coffee machine and then ask daily for the coffee for the machine instead of it just being replaced - more tipping.

8. I had never been to America before never mind New York and was not accustomed to the tipping aspect of Stateside life, thus I was a little annoyed when I was glared at by the doorman who held the door open for me while I struggled though with my bags after not tipping him.
