1. Really, though, this would be a great choice if you want to avoid the madness of Midtown but still have lots of eating/drinking/entertainment options close by.

2. This is a real blessing in that you can get peace and quiet late at night and can step out on to a clear sidewalk rather than the madness of some hotels around the tourist spots.

3. Whilst seemingly out of the madness of NYC it is easily accessible by Subway (end of the street - 10 mins to Times Square), by Bus (outside the door - 15 mins to 5th Avenue) and of course by Yellow Cab.

4. )This is ideal if you want to escape the mad, busy tourist areas of NYC & recharge your batteries in the evening, but a Subway station is just at the end of the block to reach places really easily.
