3. Not a great number of restaurants nearby (that we found), and we ate in the restaurant one evening and the food was very nice although the wine is expensive (and they didn't have any of the cheaper bottles left - i just hate that, always so convenient - for them).

4. The biggest let down for us was, I hate to say, the overall standard of service offered by a few of the main reception staff, who could be haughty and even rude when approached for information and advice.

6. Only down side (and I hate to do this because I would stay there again finances permitting) is we did find a baby cockroach on our last night, and the toilet blocked up on the last night.
