1. Yes, it's NY and I was staying in a petite single room but I found it a bit claustrophobic.
"a bit disappointing " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/2/2011 Vote
2. I booked the smallest single room and find it cozy and well laid out rather than claustrophobic.
"Excellent All Around " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/23/2011 Vote
3. Also, I recommend avoiding the rooms ending in '01' on each floor, as they are stuck at the back (east) end of the hotel, with only one window (rather than two), so they are even darker than the others and seem claustrophobic.
"Great hotel concept and location, but is now worn, feels dark, and has lost the "special" feeling. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/10/2011 Vote
4. Our room was very clean, but very tiny; the high ceilings kept it from getting claustrophobic.
"Great location and amenities " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/31/2010 Vote
5. The 'petite' rooms are petite indeed, but extremely well organised and not at all claustrophobic (and the bathrooms are fantastic).
"A consistently splendid place to stay " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/23/2010 Vote
6. In retrospect, I wish I had opted for a larger room as I am used to high end hotels and this felt a little depressing and claustrophobic other than for sleep.
"A Great Option in New York City " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/5/2010 Vote
7. Was I wrong to expect a better breakfast option? The reading room was a major selling point but it has an awful claustrophobic feel to it.
"Underwhelming, but still good " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/10/2009 Vote
8. We used this room constantly as the Jnr Suite can get a little claustrophobic with three people.
"Lovely hotel and staff, except for hotel room ventilation/heating system " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/22/2008 Vote
9. The hallway outside our room and at the elevator was no more that 4-5 feet wide and the elevators were tiny, though nicely updated--While it is to the owner`s credit that he was able to turn a warren of tiny offices into livable space, the the overall feeling from the moment you walk into the lobby is very claustrophobic.
"Lovely, Quiet, Small Intimate Hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/18/2005 Vote
