5. The rest of the breakfast was a buffet , which was adequate but quite disappointing and ruined by the fact that the restaurant manager chose to come over halfway through my meal and inform me that it was 'against health and safety regulations ' for me to not be wearing shoes ,admittedly they offered to get me some from my room but I was then further interrupted by them telling me that they did not want to go in to my room as I had left the do not disturb sign on the door - overall I felt this was a very embarrassing and humiliating experience and that they only wanted me to put shoes on as I was probably lowering the tone of their establishment - I wonder if I had been wearing my Rolex and jewellery if the attitude would have been different ? I feel at they should not have allowed me to be seated in the first place and if they had had a kettle in the room this would not have happened .
