The only
downside
was that the pool and nightclub attracted a very young crowd, making me feel old :).

Only
downside
is that its a way to most of the things you will want to do which end up being more often in the Wynn or at the Venetian/Palazzo.

Some people might think the location (away from the centre of the strip) is a
downside

The only
downside
to staying at the Encore is that it is a little far down the strip, you can certainly still walk everywhere but we found it easier, especially with wife in heels, to take a cab to the other casinos.

Great hotel, unbelievable spa, really cool pool, great restaurants -- casino is fine but not unlike every other top rate casino only minor
downside
is it's at end of strip so getting anywhere else for shows or dinner can be a hassle.

The only
downside
is the prices on food and sundries - $40 per person plus drinks for the buffet dinner, $12 beers, $20 for fruit, a bagel, and juice for breakfast, and a $9 toothbush.
