There is much about Ohana East to like and a few extra services that make it a good value:- 15 minutes of free long distance calls to US or Canada each day- free local calls- free beach towels- free in-room safe- use of a shower room after check-out to freshen up before late night flights- free Wi-Fi in the lobby- use of Pink Line trolley for free means no bus fare to Ala Moana Centre- bell desk can get a good deal on airport shuttle ($10/person one way)Other goods things worth mentioning:- location, only a block and half from the beach- room was spotless and maid service very good- a reasonably priced laundromat in the hotel- breakfast special at place in the hotel was the best deal in Waikiki ($4 for pancakes, bacon, eggs)- local bus stop right across the street - really helpful staffWhat could have been better:- the key cards are terribly prone to losing their coding.
