1. When I rung reception they told me to put a towel up against the door, when I asked if they had other complaints the answer was no, but in the lift the next morning one couple said they had to go outside to bring in the balcony furniture it was moving around so much and making a terrible noise.

5. When I told the desk clerk about these problems, he shrugged his shoulders and told me that everyone has similar complaints, he passes them on, but nothing is ever done to fix problems.

7. Elephant and Castle pub/restaurant also very good and Anthony's fish grotto right across the road on the waterfront has great seafood ( they also have a takeaway at the side which is also good an great value)Rooms are worn but everything worked, No complaints.

8. Perfect view ( you can see the Midway, cruise terminal, Ship museum, the airport, harbor Island, shelter Island, the Naval Air station, the Coast Guard station nice balcony, so If you enjoy watching boats and planes coming and going, bring your binoculars)No complaints about train horns, heard vaguely in the distance at night but in no way disturbed our sleep.
