2. To make matters worse, the parking fee showed up on one of our bills and when it was discussed the next day with the front desk staff, the clerk had the audacity to say 'what makes you think you should receive free parking?' avoid this property, spend a couple dollars more and stay in the Gas Lamp district.

3. We got in later than expected and the staff was helpful in getting us in and letting us know where to find some tasty grub and letting us know where to avoid as a 'bad' area of town.

5. As many other people mentioned it has a great location and you can walk to everything including the trolly/metro which is great if you want to avoid the pricey cabs.

8. Overall, if you are going to pay to stay downtown, make sure you get a bay view and avoid the south tower.

9. lol my view was the window near the elevators :) The hotel is across from a horrible tourist trap restaurant you should avoid ( I learned a couple years back) and next to the big English ship.
