1. My main complaint is their ridiculous WIFI policy.
"Great Location but Ridiculous WIFI Policy " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/5/2012 Vote
2. That's ridiculous and out of touch with the offerings at most other hotels, particularly a high-end hotel in/near a business district.
"Very nice hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   3/12/2012 Vote
3. Although the Rooftop Bar was pushing the Techno Beat a little too hard for my taste on a Friday late afternoon, and was charging ridiculous prices for small drinks served ONLY in plastic cups - the heaters, views, and combination of seating and socializing spaces would be great for the younger crowd.
"Doubletree gets style... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/9/2011 Vote
4. You have to be on a high floor to avoid noise from the El but not to high to avoid the huge noise from the skybar on 27th floor (12th is perfect)The skybar is a great disapointement: overcrowded at all times; presence in the lobby and elevators of screaming crowd of overdressed and ridiculous girls wearing high shoes they don t know to walk with:-) funny to see but rapidly annoying for hotel guests.
"Very good " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/14/2011 Vote
5. Don't get me wrong, it's a perfect location, the staff was generally friendly, and the room was large; unfortunately, the door to the bathroom was so stiff as to require both hands to slide it open and closed (I am very in-shape, this was ridiculous).
"Not worth the hype; not likely to try again " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/13/2011 Vote

Liked:Great location -- walked to theater, jazz club, restaurants easilyStaff act like they enjoy their jobsExcellent service from housekeeping, concierge, front deskExceptionally clean roomsFitness area very attractive and niceDisliked:Having to pay for valet parking ($46 per night--ouch) even though it's common in downtown ChicagoNo free internet (again, common but ridiculous when cheap motel chains offer it free).
