It is right on Waikiki beach, which is great for the location but also makes it very noisy, even at the pool the noise from the street, the hotel next door (Aston) and the beach construction were extremely
loud
.

We did have the misfortune of getting probably the worst room in the hotel - fourth floor right next to the elevators which were LOUD.

Waikiki is crowded and
loud
, and the only reason we stay there is that it's closer to my husband's family than the Ihilani.

I read about
loud
drunkenness down below and some reviews even made me feel like I would be entering a hotel from 1983.
