2. Second stay I was in room 1814 on the side above the shoppes - the beds are new but it is dated and it's the no frills side of the hotel (Marriott Platinum member - my room wasn't ready but I was exhausted so the told me it wasn't as nice as the room I was slotted for initially).

5. Compared to other hotels in the area, we think it offers the best value: larger room sizes, less dated than other hotels, updated furniture and carpets in the rooms, excellent view and generous size and comfort of public areas.

10. The Kealohilani tower is the one that has been renovated more recently and has a much more up-to-date feel, while the room in the Paoakalani tower feel quite dated.
