1. We still had a great honeymoon but it would have been better if it weren't for the above issues.

4. The doors to the rooms are spaced close together (I assume to maximize the views) and so the doors opening and closing create noise issues.

5. The issues we did have is the pool was under construction, so there was noise during the day, there was picketing in the early morning so we were awoken to screaming, loud unhappy voices.

7. We also had an issue with the room next to us having a loud gathering around midnight the first night we arrived (and were exhausted from a day of travel) but we called the front desk and security came up promptly and addressed the situation professionally.

8. We didn't have any noise issues, Kalakaua Ave is noisy all the time so it's not really fair to complain about that, it's part of the attraction anyway.

10. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we think that spending the extra amount for the regency rooms has been the right decision but we have to admit that the hotel has some issues to resolve.
