1. But, the shower problem was a big negative and for me a huge concern.

2. Now for the negative: Every shower except for 1 (which we are talking 7 out of 8) I was continually adjusting the temp because it turned ice cold and then extremely hot.

7. Our view of the State Plaza Hotel: negatives: At first we were skeptical when we drove up to the front door of the hotel to find that the doors were barricaded by construction fencing.

9. The only negatives were some of the goofiness that hotels lower than 4 star often have - like one night the soda machine no longer taking money, and the staff knowing that but not putting a sign on the machine.
