1. ), the TV reception was beyond lousy (few channels, some were so snowy they were unwatchable), the fridge handle was broken, the AC barely, barely kept up (glad it wasn't hotter than 80 degrees outside), oh, and did I mention the parking? We paid $36 to the garage which by the way, was 5 blocks away.

Pluses were: large size room plus dressing room plus kitchen; beds, pillows and sheets were comfy; there is a restaurant on-site and food was generally good; hotel is not new but seemed clean and cared for; 24-hours CVS next door Minuses were: 'kitchen' meant sink, fridge, and cooktop but nomicrowave was provided-we asked for one, but it was not forthcoming-- or any kind of pots& pans (housekeeping did bring a large pot and some cups when we asked); restaurant service ranged from excellent to lousy; limited menu and serving hours (no lunch on weekends); hotel is far from attractions (other than a few monuments) and no restaurants at all in area other than the one in the hotel; mirror-image lobbies in two sides of the hotel are confusing and it can be a long hike to the room (through the garage) from E street to the tower on F street; zero tourist information available from front desks, though they will call cabs.
