1. unfortunately my secretary prepaid my room for almost $600 a night, and at that rate it is a rip-off.

2. When we got to the hotel we asked if there were any available upgrades, and unfortunately the only upgrade was for a slightly bigger room and access to the 'penthouse' lounge with free nibbles, drinks (including beer, soda, coffee), and wine/liquor/champagne at night after 5:30.

3. It is, however, really close to the subway stop and one of the Hop on Hop off bus companies has a stop close by (unfortunately it was running late on the day we were there and caught the subway to Union station and took the Old Trolley Tour instead).

4. unfortunately, there were many issues that overshadowed the positive aspects of the stay:* the large group of drunk people in the lobby that we had to push our way through to check in.

8. unfortunately, it's lacking in a few areas that you come to expect from a 4-star: 1) quality, attentive service; 2) working TVs; and, 3) bathroom doors.
