1. Nice design and renovation, but the rooms are simply too small for a family (twin doubles); however I wouldn't pay $335 a night for an extra room for my two girls (under 7).

5. very clean, good location,recently remodeled rooms,staff was very nice and attentive, but unless I can afford a suite, I won't be able to go back to this hotel, the room I stayed was too small,it was smaller than any room I have ever stayed even in NYC.

6. Only negative I would have is the size of the room was a tad bit too small and the open design of the bathroom may be problematic with a large family.

It`s perfectly situated right on Dupont Circle, steps away from the Metro, and the hotel itself is intimate but not too small, friendly, tastefully appointed, had a warm Irish bar and a decent restaurant on site, and my room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated (the in-room refrigerator was a nice touch, and came pre-stocked with snacks, soft drinks, and alcohol--not free, though).
