1. Room was so small, I felt we were in a tiny boat cabin, no dresser for clothes and a closet with 5 hangers.
"Dupont Circle Hotel is just duh! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/14/2012 Vote
2. Very long corridors which look like they've not had their second coat of paint on close inspection turn out to be lined with gray velvet; there are only 3 small elevators for the hotel's 9 floors; room has a tiny cluttered closet; no bath; strange little shutters inside the plate glass (to get the view I have 17 shutters to open and they then protrude into the room); the aircon is noisy and changes setting spontaneously; the business centre is a single PC and a printer; and the bar seems to be a hangout for cacophanous local teenagers.

3. The cafe or restaurant downstairs was pathetic with tiny portions of food that couldn't feed a mouse but cost like it could feed a horse.

8. This is not my favorite at all - biggest cons: (1) the room was TINY, so much so that when we walked in, my spouse said, 'um, are we in NYC?', (2) the plantation style shutters, while charming, yet not at all cohesive with the modern look, do not block the blinding LIGHT that comes in as soon as the sun rises.
"Felt like I was in NYC - and not in a good way.... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   6/13/2011 Vote
9. They are incredibly tiny and leave no room for your baggage.
"Rude management, horrible rooms, and a ludicrous price! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/18/2011 Vote
10. tiny halogen pinpoint spotlights on adjustable arms on either side of the bed, in addition to the standard bedside lamp, perfect for focused reading light.
"Best stay in DC yet " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/5/2011 Vote
