1. We travel to Washington DC three or four times a year and usually pick our hotel by finding the best price at a good hotel near Dupont or Georgetown and we've stayed in some very nice places.

6. Good prices, but by far for us, the best parts were the free breakfast each morning (huge selection - even a personal omelet station!) and manager happy hour (good selection and 'feature drink' each night - for us it was Cosmos on Fri and Jamaican Rum Punch on Sat).
