3. The garage is quite expensive, but be careful about parking in a public garage away from the hotel--they have interesting hours, and you may find your vehicle locked up when you need it.

5. For a 'luxury' hotel, the towel quality was really poor and the view from the room was of a parking lot and some vans (I know that can't be helped).

6. The valet parking is $42 a night, unless you get there early enough on the weekend to park on the street and then it's free (just pay special attention to all the confusing parking signs so you aren't ticketed or towed).

7. Valet parking is costly as well, but you are in DC and it is hard to find a place to park close to this hotel, so you have grin and bear it cost $42 a day to park.

9. The only negative thing that I have to write about Sofitel DC is that they do not give guests access to self parking; you have to use valet parking.
