1. It feels like home because of the generous staff from the doormen who welcome EVERY guest to the desk staff (superb at check-in and departure to the several concierges all of whom are knowledgeable and most helpful.

2. I arrived at the hotel from the airport (nice short cab ride from Reagan) before 10am, and even though it was five hours before check-in I was able to have my room early, which was a terrific way to start my stay at the Sofitel.

3. Among the Le Club gold benefits I enjoyed the drink voucher which unlike some other Accord properties was valid for any drink, plus a very tasty and classy snack tray they sent up after check-in.

8. As an A-club silver member we recieved all the benefits at check in, had a personal hand written welcome from the manager waiting in the room with some fruit and the check in staff were very friendly.
