1. The Mason Beach Inn felt like it was skimming on the price point of the neighborhood, without giving much more than a modernized Motel 6 provides (we stayed at three different Motel 6's on this same trip, near Disneyland and up north off I-5, and were much happier with those due to their value for the money).
