4. However, I had enough on the last day when we went to check out and were told it would take 20 min for a bell hop to assist us with our bags (I really don't mind carrying my own stuff but this place has lots of hills and we had lots of stuff).

5. We asked at check in if we did not end up having lunch at Bacara would we still receive the $85 credit and she said yes, but at check out of course the check in person was wrong and the check out person looked as if we were making up the fact her colleague told us the exact opposite.

6. We did get a chance to venture into Santa Barbara (State Street & the wonderful Brophy Bros at the harbor, loved Los Arroyos & Butterfly Beach in Montecito, and the little town of Summerland for antique shopping and check out Sacred Space).

7. Similarly, our friends told us of the falconer the resort engages, so we were able to check out the birds -- but that's nothing the staff volunteered.

8. Definately check out the pool and ask for some cookies and milk to enjoy poolside, they were excellent.
