1. I have been to resorts around the US and any resort located neara beach will most likely have sand.

3. We did get a chance to venture into Santa Barbara (State Street & the wonderful Brophy Bros at the harbor, loved Los Arroyos & Butterfly Beach in Montecito, and the little town of Summerland for antique shopping and check out Sacred Space).

4. I went to see the beautiful sandy beach that they had a picture off, but all the sand was washed away in the storm and there was only bolders and rocks there.

7. They also have a private beach and breathtaking views, courtyards, etc. I am looking forward to the next time I can afford staying here and you should too.

9. Bacara does have tennis courts and an adjacent golf course, we didn't use either but there's a nice walking path which meanders down to the beach.
