2. Just FYI, we had found an excellent 'off season' rate that included an upgrade to a suite, which was very impressive in size (though also dated).

3. Stayed here for 5 days during a conference - you're likely not to get the room rates we did (175/night), as typical prices per night are in the 300-400 range (my room was listed at 695!).

4. We booked through Priceline and paid about half of the normal rate, but the front desk was happy to grant our request for two beds and we had a great room that overlooked the walking path and a glimpse of the Ramblin' River.

5. I told them about our experience with the Hyatt and they gave us a very good rate and 4 complimentary movie tickets, our room was perfect and the pool was clean.

8. The rooms are not bad, very hill country, exactly what you would expect for a hotel room, but not really what I expected for the per a night rates I was seeing online.

9. Overall I think that is a terrible practice for a business, just raise the rates by $22 a night if you are going to charge it anyway.
