1. While the grounds were gorgeous and our time at the resort enjoyable, the decor of the room was a bit worn and dated.

4. If you`re not from Texas, you`d probably get a kick out of all the Texas decor - limestone, large fireplaces, bluebonnets, windmill on the property - all a very charming taste of the hill country.

7. Decor is a Texas ranch vibe and there is a great bar in the hotel with a 30 foot brass rail, video games, large screen tv's, ppol tables, etc. Kids are not allowed in bar at night.
