1. For one, the pool was awesome and overlooks both Bourbon and Canal Streets (although, for someone average height or shorter, you may need to use a chair to see over the walls).

2. The lobby is quite fabulous and all the other public areas we had the chance to see, including the balconies overlooking Canal street and the rooftop pool, were pretty neat as well.

4. If traveling with small children the hotel doesn't have much to offer except the pool as do most hotels in the French Quarter's & Central Business District.
