3. When telling my story to the front desk attendant at check out, I requested that I pay a smaller self-park fee rather than the valet fee, but she said tea $31 a night is similar to what I would have paid parking anywhere during Mardi Gras, so she wouldn't discount the parking fees.

8. There is a 31.00+ fee for valet parking but they don't tell you that the parking facility is off site (specifically 5+ blocks ).

9. We were able to walk to the Arena for the games, (about a 20 minute walk), since the cab ride there was $20 --no, it is not that far, they charged a special events fee.
