1. There were only 3 computers so I'd recommend going early or during off hours if you need to get stuff done for work etc. The second floor has a balcony that was great looking down on Bourbon street that have no seats but tables to set your drinks on.

5. The lobby is quite fabulous and all the other public areas we had the chance to see, including the balconies overlooking Canal street and the rooftop pool, were pretty neat as well.

6. We had a room overlooking Canal Street, on the second floor, so we could watch the parades from our room when we wanted, or we could go to the hotel balcony or just outside on the street.

10. If you get tired of the crazy street, make your way up to the meeting room floor and sit out on the balcony to people watch and relax for a while.
