There were only 3 computers so I'd recommend going early or during off hours if you need to get stuff done for work etc. The second floor has a
balcony
that was great looking down on Bourbon street that have no seats but tables to set your drinks on.

As others have said, the location is superb and the
balcony
served as a welcome respite from the crowds to watch the parade.

We also enjoyed the
balconi
es until we were kicked off so the hotel could hold a private function.

The lobby is quite fabulous and all the other public areas we had the chance to see, including the
balconi
es overlooking Canal street and the rooftop pool, were pretty neat as well.

We had a room overlooking Canal Street, on the second floor, so we could watch the parades from our room when we wanted, or we could go to the hotel
balcony
or just outside on the street.

Watched the parades from the
balcony
, and easily walked the heart of Bourbon Street, knowing I was close to my hotel all the time.

I could imagine that without the wrist bands controlling who came in the hotel, my experience on the
balcony
would have been quite different.

One big plus was the ability to use both the Canal St and Bourbon St
balconi
es during some of the parades.

If you get tired of the crazy street, make your way up to the meeting room floor and sit out on the
balcony
to people watch and relax for a while.
