7. The room rate was NOT a bargain, but I think that's because I was there for 'Memphis in May', which is the local high season for tourism.

8. The guy who checked us at the front desk managed to not say a SINGLE word to us until he handed us the keys and told us where the elevator was - so obviously we had to figure out for ourselves that breakfast was included in the rate.

9. Regarding pricing, the hotel gave 20% off of the rate for being with the race, but looking at prices for other weekends, it seems the prices were raised about that much.
