5. Here's the good part: I walked in and they had spread rose petals over the bed and had a dual swan made of two small towels and a single rose leaning against the pillow along with his and hers robes laid out.

6. The hotel is slowly moving towards an eco-offering ( most hotels have, for a long time, offered the option of reusing towels for example) but given that the clientele is mostly the oil industry, I imagine that the hotel management hasn't felt very driven to adopt this approach.
