1. The public areas on the ground floor have obviously had money spent on them to attract customers; there is a large indoor lake with beautiful koi carp, but the whole of the ground floor has very low level lighting and the air conditioning is very cold, not a very inviting place to sit and relax.

4. The hotel has about a two acre indoor/outdoor lake which makes the property very lovely as it meanders like a river through the interior of the hotel.

Also, I was a bit surprised that there isn't more effort at this hotel to go 'green' and switch bulbs to fluorescent in the rooms, offer recycling bins in the rooms, The main floor area of the hotel was also very pleasant with ponds, fish, turtles, etc. And just otuside the hotel was a small lake and greenery area with fish and ducks, etc..

8. The highlight for our entire family was the Koi pond/lake, a delightful addition and backdrop to the beautiful (recently renovated) main lobby area.
