1. We were in the building across the street from the main building.

2. That said, if you can roll with the punches and not get irritated about being awakened by blaring mariachi music from the room next door where the housekeepers have turned it up to amuse themselves at 9:00AM, and you don't mind eating every meal outside of the hotel, then you will enjoy the luxurious, sumptuous hotel decor and the ease with which you can walk over to the Little Nell for lunch and drinks or down Mill Street to a ton of wonderful restaurants for dinner.
"Something missing... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/18/2012 Vote
3. The town of Aspen reminds me of Disney's Main Street come to life.
"A wonderful winter hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/30/2012 Vote
4. This property is aesthetically streets ahead of the other local offerings, however.
"Lovely property run and ruined by amateurs... " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/21/2012 Vote
5. One positive of not being in the main building was having a separate entrance just across the street from the park, so you no longer have to walk through the lobby and have 10 employees say hello and thank you for your stay each time entering the hotel.
"Second stay " Read full review on TripAdvisor   10/19/2011 Vote
6. Avail of the free coffee offered by the hotel and get bagels or pastries from neighboring Paradise or Main Street bakery and enjoy breakfast at Wagner Park people/dog watching and enjoying the scenery.

7. Starwood is run by greedy wall street people who don't get that if while if you cut back on service and training you do save money, but they don't see that in the long run they are shooting yourself in the foot.
"El Crapo: This hotel is a joke and I am done with all Starwood Hotels " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/22/2011 Vote
8. If you must stay in Aspen try the Little Nell just down the street.
"A Sheraton Hotel in St. Regis Clothing " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/20/2010 Vote
9. They also have shuttles that drive you around town, but not including the ski resorts which is really weird, so if you'll want to ski Snowmass/Highland/Buttermilk, they'll just ask you to go across the street to catch the bus, which is really easy, but just doesn't feel right cuz you thought with the price you paid, the hotel is supposed to take care of everything for you.
"Not Impressed " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/7/2010 Vote
10. Further conveniences are available through the Aspen Sports ski shop across the street, which has St Regis ski valets to take your equipment at the end of the day and have it for you the next.
"All you need for your vacation " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/6/2010 Vote
