1. For under $100/night (GREAT deal for San Francisco), the room we were in was clean, the shower offered lots of hot water and the water pressure was great.

2. If no air conditioning, no water pressure in the shower, homeless people outside the doors, tape holding down the carpeting in the lobby, no atm, no sound on the tv, and condom boxes in the elevator for five days is your cup of tea, then you have found your hotel.
