1. such a good hotel located close to everything in downtown SF (around 10 min walking to union square) although the neighborhood doesn't look that safe as you can see many homeless ppl around especially at night, it is perfectly safe to walk around even at night.

If I were by myself I would just walk quickly through the groups of homeless people and drug addicts knowing that if a problem arose, I could leg it, but being with my 50 year old mother and father I had to forever watch our backs during the journey between the hotel and the safe tourist populated parts.

8. We found a choice of interesting breakfast places within 3 mins walk and really appreciated the proximity to transport.

9. The hotel is based just on the edge of the main touristy area so it is walking distance of Union Square, UN Plaza, China Town Japan Town, in fact you're a couple of miles walk from any of the main attractions even Height Ashbury and Alcatraz.

10. Bus and Muni stop right in front of the hotel, and also the Bart is less than 2 minutes to walk from the Renoir.
