1. We walked to a great restaurant several blocks away and saw an incredible Train concert at the Great American Music Hall and walked back to our hotel and we felt safe on the streets and especially comfortable in our room.

4. The things I like about the COVA are: great value, modern and comfortable rooms, helpful and friendly staff (the best I have found in SF), free breakfast, free shuttle, close to Union Square and downtown, international clientele, location next to 'Little Saigon' where there is a wide selection of restaurants with delicious Vietnamese food.

6. There are excellent restaurants blocks from the hotel, one being a Thai place right around the corner, and a few blocks down Ellis is John's Grill (mentioned in the Maltese falcon) One bus will also take you down to the pier area.

9. The room was clean but very tight for 3 people - there are not any dressers so you cannot unpack whatsoever; one mirror located in the bathroom; no on sight restaurant with the exception of the top floor used for morning breakfasts; there is a rooftop bar , but there are only tables and chairs and NO BAR.
