2. I personally am glad others find the neighborhood terrifying because they can stay at the Wharf and Union Square where the homeless hoards they fear travel daily to panhandle them mercilessly while I enjoy my comfy bed and great rate.

3. I stay at the Cova exclusively now because I can get it at a good rate and it's close to everything I need (I'm talking to YOU Turtle Tower!).

7. The other thing I love about the Cova is that the room rates are reasonable for what you get and also that parking is not $50 a night like the rest of the 'fancy' hotels.

8. Stayed here for a week and would certainly go back - get a good rate on Hotwire with breakfast included (nothing special but fine), room clean, staff fine, and with a room at the back, was pretty quite.
