4. Our stay at Whitcomb has always been pleasant but this time we were given a beautiful, newly renovated room with a view of the Orpheum across the street.

This review is based on the second or third time I have stayed at this hotel for the following reasons: Great value, easily accessible by BART, central location from anywhere you'd want to go in the city, friendly staff (from the front desk to the elevator mechanic I stood with for a brief moment en route to my room), beautifully appointed rooms with some amazing city views.

10. When we walked in the lobby we were amazed and how beautiful it is, when we went up to our room(which we were told it was a great upgrade for free) the room was nice, with a view of a brick wall and a bathroom that looked like it was from a jail cell.
