1. We loved San Francisco - didnt like the number of homeless people begging on the streets but this is a sign of the times and not only a problem in San Francisco.

2. Plenty of eateries in the neighbourhood and an excellent diner on the corner which did a fabulous breakfast there is a diner in the hotel however across the street is far better.

4. My room was on the back side so I didn't experience the street noise, but I was right next to the elevator and you could hear it going up and down until late in the evening.

5. Loved San Francisio, the Hotel Frank is on Geary Street which has a number of very nice galleries on it, especially The Art of Dr Suess, worth a look.

8. Max's Restaurant has an entrance from the hotel lobby as well as from the street - very reasonably priced & comprehensive menu with friendly & attentive staff.
