2. Excellent, safe location (right next to the China Gate) and nice room (except for the clawfoot bathtub shower with the wrap around shower curtain, but then everything can't be perfect).

3. The hotel location is perfect for taking Bart from the airport ($8.20 one way fare), getting off at the Montgomery St station (the Powell St station immediately precedes it, if you get to Embarcadero you've gone too far.
