It's the location that is the winner, for those of a timid nature it feels safe at night; transport-wise cable-cars and busses to everywhere are just a couple of blocks away; Market Street / Union Square (for those of a shopping-inclined nature) are a short walk (nay a mere leap) too; and it is right at the start of Chinatown.

10. The flat panel TV was working but there was an unbearable buzzing noise due to interference in the cable on many channels (we had to put on the Closed captions).
