1. After a fantastic experience at the Westin on Market street, where i stayed for business (perfect business hotel), I was looking forward to a more luxurious stay at the Palace for the weekend.

2. The glittering Palace in San Francisco is conveniently located near Union Square and the Museum of Modern Art, but it manages to feel somehow tucked away with its main entrance on the smallish New Montgomery Street.

7. And seriously, my friends and I were trying to cross the street in front of the hotel and one of the doormen stepped out in the street and held traffic so we could cross.
