1. There is only one viable (not going through the alley past the dumpsters) exit, where pedestrians have to watch out for vehicles coming and going to get to the street, except for one narrow sidewalk to the side of the entrance.

2. If you want to grab breakfast, they only have a Denny's downstairs, otherwise you can walk across to the newer better holiday inn across the street where they serve a medicore breakfast.

3. We selected Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites specifically for the location, as we love to walk the wonderful streets of San Francisco, and this Fisherman's Wharf location is an excellent starting point.

5. A large sightseeing company was adjacent to hotel and great sports bar at the Hyatt across the street with a 7 hour Happy Hour.

7. Try Knuckles across the street for a reasonably priced meal, and Boudin's Bakery on the wharf (especially upstairs for happy hour).

9. Hotel does not have a restaurant, but Hyatt across the street has a wine bar and a sports bar that we made good use of.
